Biography
Dr Mohammad D. Alfawareh did his Medical Degree (MBBS) in Jordan University Medical School Amman, Jordan. He is also Consultant orthopedic & spine surgeon, Spine department, NNI, KFMC, Saudi Arabia. He has also been a editorial board member ofOrthopedic and Rheumotolgy Journal. He has membership in many societies like Saudi Arabian Orthopedic Society, AO Spine North America, Jordanian Orthopedic Society, association for Orthopedic Surgeons and many more membership he holds. His current research is on Definition for the open-spine surgery simulator, combined project with University of Montreal, Montreal Canada, aim to create and design spine simulator that can be used to train junior surgeon about spine surgery; MAGEC Rods Promising Technology but can lead to Catastrophic Failure, case report, submitted to Spine Journal; Is decompression necessary for thoracolumbar burst fractures with retropulsed fragment in the canal in neurologically intact patients, treated by minimal invasive spine surgery?, submitted to Journal of Spine Disorders Techniques. He holds mny research experience like- Combination of elective preoperative vertebral artery stenting with O arm assisted navigation in cervical spine tumor excision; In Thoracolumbar fractures treated by MISS; Pseudotail, scoliosis and polysyndactly and many more
